The problem we solve
Prop trading is a multi-billion-dollar industry, yet the vast majority of traders fail their challenge. More often than not the cause isn't a poor strategy, but a misunderstanding of the rules: daily drawdown, overall drawdown (static / trailing / intraday), minimum trading days, profit target, the consistency rule. Every firm calculates differently. Traders learn about a violation after the fact — once the account is already blown and the challenge fee is lost.

Existing trackers describe the past: "here's your drawdown." Prop Firm Vertical goes further and tells you what to do:

Core features
- Live Compliance. The heart of the module. The platform calculates all key challenge metrics against the chosen firm's rules in real time: daily drawdown, overall drawdown, progress to profit target, trading days. You see your buffer to each limit and the current challenge status at any moment.
- Tiered alerts. As you approach a limit, you receive notifications of increasing urgency — approaching, danger zone, critical. The signal arrives while you can still stop.
- Firm Library. A catalog of prop firms with payout conditions, rule schemes by phase and account size, reliability ratings, and direct purchase links. All firms, their rules and reputation in one place.
- Custom Rule Builder. A step-by-step challenge setup wizard: firm → program → phase → account size. For non-standard or private conditions, manually configure any combination of limits.
- Forward Shadow Mode. A virtual challenge on top of your real live account, without buying one from a prop firm. You trade as usual, and the platform shows whether you'd pass the chosen firm or not — a free rehearsal before paying the entry fee.
- Retroactive Replay. Runs an existing account's history through firm rules retroactively: at what moment and under which rule you would have breached a limit, and how the equity curve would have developed.
- Rolling Window. Assesses the stability of your result across different time windows, rather than a single fixed period — consistency over time instead of one-off luck.
- AI assistant. A built-in chat that breaks down your challenge status, explains the firm's rules in plain language, and answers questions about your specific situation.
Key tools no other service offers
- Counterfactual Lab. Analyzes a failed or near-failed challenge and finds the minimal change in your trading that would have resulted in a pass: skip a specific trade, reduce an EA's lot size, disable an EA, avoid trading at certain times. It iterates through dozens of scenarios, re-simulates each against firm rules, and shows the top options with clear explanations.
- Probability Forecaster. A Monte Carlo method run on uploaded backtests: it takes your trades, replays thousands of possible future trading scenarios against the firm's rules, and produces a probability of passing, expected timeframes, and a breakdown of failure causes — daily drawdown, overall drawdown, missed deadlines. A clear probability figure before you ever buy the challenge.
- Firm Recommender. Analyzes your trading style — position hold times, lot size, activity by day, drawdown profile, trading sessions, weekend holding, profit consistency — and ranks prop firms by how well their rules suit you specifically. For each firm: a match score, an estimated probability of passing, and concrete reasons for and against.

Forecasts are based on historical data and simulation. These are tools for estimating probability and providing recommendations, not guarantees of passing — actual results may differ.
