Refund Policy

1. Overview
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of paid subscriptions to FX Monitor (the "Service"), operated by FXMON PTE. LTD. (UEN 202625254E), Singapore. Please read it together with our Terms of Service.
Our order process and payments are handled by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates ("Paddle"). Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all orders, which means Paddle is the seller for billing purposes and is responsible for processing payments, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks. Refund requests are therefore reviewed and determined by Paddle, in accordance with this policy, Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions, and applicable law.
2. Free plan and trials
FX Monitor offers a free plan and may offer free trials of paid plans. No payment is taken for the free plan. During a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends; you may cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged. We encourage you to use the free plan or trial to evaluate the Service before purchasing.
3. Subscription billing and renewals
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing cycle you select (for example, monthly, quarterly, or annual) and renew automatically at the end of each cycle unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time through your account settings or via Paddle; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Cancelling does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the current period.
4. 14-day refund window
If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a refund within 14 days of:
- the date of a one-time purchase; or
- the date on which a subscription was first purchased or last renewed.
Refund requests within this window are assessed by Paddle and, where Paddle determines a refund is appropriate, the full charge for that billing period will be refunded. This 14-day window is in addition to any non-waivable statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law in your country.
5. After the 14-day window
After the 14-day window, subscription charges are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or is granted by Paddle on a discretionary, case-by-case basis. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partially used billing periods or for periods remaining after you cancel.
6. Discretionary and case-by-case refunds
Even outside the standard window, a refund may be granted at the discretion of FX Monitor and/or Paddle, taking into account factors such as the nature and usage of the Service, the reason for the request, and applicable contractual terms. Any discretionary refund is voluntary and does not create an obligation to grant refunds for similar requests in the future.
7. Technical issues
If a technical problem on our side prevents or unreasonably delays your access to a paid feature and we are unable to resolve it within a reasonable time, your remedy is restoration of access or a refund of the affected charge, as determined by Paddle.
8. Taxes
Where sales tax (including GST, VAT, or similar consumption taxes) was charged on your transaction, tax-related refunds (for example, for tax-registered businesses) are handled by Paddle in accordance with its policies. You must contact Paddle within the timeframe Paddle specifies (generally 60 days of the transaction) and provide any required tax information.
9. How to request a refund
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, refund requests are submitted to Paddle:
- Go to https://paddle.net and locate your order using the email address used at purchase or the order reference from your Paddle receipt; or
- Contact us at corp@fx-monitor.com and we will assist you in directing the request to Paddle.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. The time for the refund to appear depends on your payment provider.
10. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact Paddle or us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, so we can try to resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback without a legitimate reason may result in suspension of your account.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. We recommend saving or printing a copy for your records.
