AI Agent

Updated 04 Apr 2026

AI Agent is the analytical intelligence at the core of FX Monitor. Powered by Claude AI, it has full access to your trading data and can conduct deep analysis across accounts, portfolios, and strategies — answering questions in plain language and providing structured analytical reports that would take hours to produce manually.

The agent automatically selects the appropriate AI model based on the complexity of the task: Claude Haiku for fast straightforward queries, Claude Sonnet for standard analysis, and Claude Opus for the most demanding multi-account computations.

What the AI Agent Can Do

For beginners — explain what your statistics mean, identify the weakest points of your trading, and suggest what to focus on to improve results.

For professionals — conduct structured quantitative analysis: overfitting risk assessment, Monte Carlo risk projections, correlation matrix across strategies, portfolio weight optimisation, and comparative ranking of accounts.

The AI Agent works equally well whether you have one account or a complex multi-account setup across multiple brokers and strategies.

Analysis Context

Before starting a conversation, select the data context the agent will work with using the Analysis Context dropdown:

Single Account — analysis focused on one selected account. The agent has access to full trade history, statistics, open positions, and account metrics.

Multi Accounts — select multiple accounts from the list on the left panel. The agent analyses all selected accounts simultaneously, compares them, and can reason across the entire dataset. Accounts are listed with their name, broker, and current balance. A counter at the bottom shows how many accounts are included in the context.

Portfolio — analysis focused on a specific portfolio, using its aggregated trade history and metrics.

Tracking List — analyse public accounts and portfolios from your Tracking List. Useful for evaluating strategies you follow but do not own.

Trade Correlation — a dedicated mode that computes a Pearson correlation matrix across the selected accounts or strategies, identifying which combinations reduce overall portfolio risk and which amplify it. The View details link expands the full correlation breakdown.

Chat History

All previous conversations are saved and listed in the left panel under Chat History, grouped by date. Each session is labelled with a summary of the query. Click + New to start a fresh conversation. Sessions are preserved independently so you can return to any previous analysis at any time.

Example Use Cases

Full account analysis — the agent reviews all key metrics, identifies statistical red flags (e.g. suspiciously high win rate, low trade count, single-symbol exposure), assesses overfitting risk, and provides a structured verdict with flagged items highlighted.

Portfolio construction — given a set of accounts, the agent calculates inter-strategy correlations, recommends which accounts to include or exclude, suggests allocation weights, and explains the reasoning behind each recommendation.

Monte Carlo risk analysis — the agent interprets simulation results and translates probability distributions into plain-language risk assessments.

Comparative strategy ranking — when multiple accounts are selected, the agent ranks them by risk-adjusted performance and identifies the strongest and weakest contributors to the overall portfolio.

Open-ended questions — ask anything about your trading in natural language: "Why is my drawdown so high?", "Which of my strategies has the best risk-adjusted return?", "What would happen if I removed the worst-performing account from my portfolio?"

AI Requests

The number of available AI requests per month is shown at the bottom of the left panel. The current plan and remaining request count are displayed alongside the usage counter.
